What is included in the wedding coverage?
Wedding coverage includes Brian and Amanda as your photographers, a disc of all your images (you can print from the disc) and a password protected online gallery.
How early in the wedding-planning process should I retain you services for our wedding ?
Several factors should be considered that will depend on the timing of retaining our services. The most important of these factors is the time of year that you will be getting married. If your wedding falls in the most popular months… (May, June, September, and October), you should be booking us 12-18 months in advance. These dates get filled very quickly. If your wedding falls on a holiday, you will also want to book 12-18 months in advance. For all other dates, consider booking us 10-12 months in advance.
How far in advance to I schedule my engagement session?
You should allow enough time for a weather related rescheduling of you session. This is especially true for the spring months. You will also want to allow enough time choose your favorite images. Most of our clients have the hardest time trying to pick. Many times do we hear “They are all so good, it’s very hard to choose.” The best course is to schedule your session at the time of signing your contract. This will give the greatest flexibility.
What should I wear for our portrait session?
Solid colors photograph best. If you don’t want to match, wear jeans and a shirt of different shades. You can do unlimited looks during your session so bring a few outfits. Avoid bold stripes, big patterns or wording on your clothes. Bring props such as college hats, bikes, kites – anything that defines your family.
Can we include our dogs in a few family photos?
Yes, but be sure to bring a friend to handle your dogs when we don’t include them.
What can I do with our younger children when they are not being photographed.
It’s best to bring along someone you can keep the young children entertained which we photograph other members of the family.
Will the prints that I order from you look just like the images on my DVD?
It depends on who is printing them. Our digital workflow involves calibration to our lab’s professional printers. Because of this, if you are taking you images to have them printed at a local 1 hour photo lab, your prints will likely not look like the images on the DVD. If you have a one of the labs listed below print your images, they should look like the images on your dvd.
How soon after my wedding or portrait session can I expect to see the images?
Depending of the time of year, your wedding images should be completed in about a month… sometimes sooner depending on our work load. During busy months, such as November and December (Christmas rush), images may take a little longer. For portraits, expect your proofs in about a week or two.
Do you offer photo guest books?
Yes, we offer two types of photo guest books. The guest book album is either designed with plenty of white space for your guests to sign or a blank page following each photograph for guests to sign.
Can we get a discount if we only have Brian or Amanda as our photographer – not both?
Brian and Amanda come as a team. We are Krug Photography. The quality of the final product is largely dependant on us shooting as a team. We both have a unique style and can see the same thing in many different ways. In addition, the quality of service that we provide you could not happen with only one photographer. You will be amazed at how smoothly the photography of your wedding day goes.
Can I upgrade my wedding coverage after I sign the contract?
Absolutley!
Can you hold my date for me?
We will secure your date with a contract and a retainer that is 33% of the total fee. Portrait sessions carry a a $100 retainer. Retainers are non-refundable but are transferable to a different date, provided we are available. Weddings and portraits sessions are booked on a first come first served basis.

As mentioned earlier, for the highest quality print, We highly recommend MPix.com – This is the publically available printing service from the lab that we use for all of our professional prints. Their service and print quality are outstanding.
